DescriptionAerial reconnaisance indicated that the Roman road to the south of Dolddinas practice camps, RR68, traditionally ascribed a route first east then south-east along a well-defined hollow way, instead follows a roughly south-south-east line from Dolddinas represented by intermittently-preserved formations and quarry hollows. These were confirmed by ground investigation which also validated the identities of four nearby practice works (NPRNs 89700-3) constructed alongside the road.
