Description
Bethany English Baptist Chapel was first built in 1876, modified in 1883 and rebuilt in 1908. The chapel is built of stone in the Simple Round-headed style with a gable-entry in the facade facing onto the road. The front elevation has a central, pointed head porch containing a round-headed doorway with double timber doors and a plain fanlight. Flanking the entrance are two plain, round-headed windows with replacement Upvc glazing, while over the porch is a smaller 4-centred arched opening with a three round-headed light window. Above this is an inscription in the render - BETHANY ENGLISH BAPTIST CHAPEL BUILT 1876 REBUILT 1908.
