Ebenezer Methodist Chapel was built in 1834 and rebuilt in 1843. The chapel was rebuilt again in 1856 to the design of architect Evan Harris of Merthyr and rebuilt a third time in 1882. This final chapel was built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type with tall round-headed windows.
