The Blaenavon Industrial Landscape is a large area of historic landscape, buildings and monuments which has evolved around the historic Blaenavon Ironworks. The site as a whole is considered to be one of the best examples in the world of a landscape created by coal mining and ironmaking in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
