Description
On the steep southwest-facing slope of Mynydd Meio is a small enclosure at the interface between enclosed and open land. It lies in a kink in the line of the modern boundary and appears to reflect either the former extent of pre-modern enclosure or its contraction in more recent times. Overall it measures 18 metres northwest to southeast by 12 metes and is defined on the northeast and southeast by the bank and fence in still in use, and on the northwest and southwest by outward-facing scarps up to 0.6m high. A derelict field wall lies behind the bank and fence on the southeast. When recorded as part of the Uplands Initiative in 2012 vegetation cover was grass.
