A rectangular, ditched and banked enclosure with rounded angles, measuring 19.5m by 18.3m between the rampart crests. It is apparently associated with the Roman road between Neath and Coelbren (NPRN 304620) and is similar to an excavated fortlet to the south-west (NPRN 301353). It is assumed to be a minor Roman military enclosure.
