Description
1) A group of seven cairns, c.4.5-9.0m in diameter & 0.3m high, set about structured cairn (Nprn400708).

2) The mounds surrounding Carn-y-saeson are composed of earth and stones and are approximately 1ft high and are as follows: 1- diameter 17ft with kerb of large stones. At the centre is a cist and a nearby stone 5ft x 18m x 9m could be a capstone. 2- diameter 30ft with remains of kerb of large stones. 3- diameter 29ft no visible kerb 4-diameter 15ft with kerb of large stones. A stone 2ft 9ins by 1ft 6ins at the centre may be part of the cist. 5- diameter 18ft with remains of kerb of very large boulders. 6- diameter 22ft with remains of kerb of large stones.
