Soar Indpendent Chapel was built in 1907. Later in the 20th century the building was converted into use as a store. Large double width and hieght sliding doors were inserted into the front facade and the entire exterior rendered in concrete. Some evidence of large round-headed windows and a round-headed datestone in the pediment may be seen through this render.
