St Winifred's catholic church, Welshpool was built in 1963. It has a a steep slanting roof over over cedar wood arches, vertical frosted windows and two stained glass windows. The altar is of Sicilian marble and there is a spiral staircae to the gallery. A carved wood stautue of Our Lady is by Jonah Jones.
