Salem Baptist Chapel was built in 1853 and rebuilt in 1876. this later chapel was designed by architect E. Roberts of Pontypridd and built by Meistri Williams of Penterry, in the Simple Round-Headed and Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type, with two storeys and mixed windows.
