DescriptionSalem Baptist Chapel was built in 1876 and constructed in a Simple Italiate style. the chapel has full height pilasters supporting arches within the pediment, semi-circular hood moulds over the round headed windows, arches terminating in foliate carved corbels, and a central roundel in the pediment with a circular cusped window. Th chapel is of the gable-entry type and the door has a semi-circular fanlight with circular tracery.
