Zion English Baptist Chapel was first built in 1890, and was rebuilt in 1905. The 1905 building was constructed in a mixed style, predominantly Sub Classical/ Arts and Crafts, as a gable-entry type. The facade is dominated by a line of five large, squre-headed windows at first floor level, with a further semi-circular window over the central one. There are brick dressings to all the openings and to the corners, and a wide double stringcourse between the ground and first floor levels with large dentilations between them. In 1998 this building was still in use as a Chapel
