Saron Independent Chapel was built in 1852 by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore, in the Simple Gothic style of the gable-entry type. This was remodelled in 1900. Saron was converted for use as a chapel of rest c.1991 but the building is now Grade 2 Listed, as a good example of a provincial chapel with much of its original internal character.
