Description
Glansevin is an early 19th century Country House, rebuilt in the early 19th century, probably incorporating part of the previous house. Known as Glansefin, Glansevin or Glansevin Uchaf, it was owned by the Lloyd, later Pryse Lloyd, family from the 16th century to the 20th century. The house is three-storey, with a 7-window front, divided 2-3-2, the centre part slightly projected and pedimented. There are modillion cornices in painted timberand a pediment which has a shield plaque with the Lloyd crest. The Roman Doric 4-column porch has 2 pilaster responds and flat entablature with dentilled cornice.
