Medieval - 2 sections. 16th century first floor altered 18th century. Stone rubble. Slate roof. Sashes with glazing bars. 18th century wood porch. 16th century wallpainting in study.
2. Wallpaintings; "Tapestry" painting, damaged at one end by a late staircase cut through the wall, and lost in places as a result of replastering. Consists of a series of panels, "red" alternating with "black". The "red" panels had a tendril pattern in red and black with red-outlined leaf-shapes in the spaces; the "black" panels were alternately two saltires set vertically with a rose between them outlined in black, and a rose in the middle of a grassy spray, also in black outline.
