DescriptionDowns Farmhouse has coursed local limestone rubble walls and Welsh slate gabled roofs with stone gable stacks. The house consists of a central block flanked by lower, slightly recessed bays either side. It is a two storey, mid to late 18C building which has received much re-featuring work in the late C20. The former sash windows have been replaced with modern three-pane sash windows and all joinery and doors are late C20.
