It was enlarged and improved by Edward Kendal at the end of the 18th century. The house was demolished c. 1952. The two lodges (South Lodge and Lower Lodge) remain.

Associated with gardens: Nprn: 86041.

2. Very clear parchmarks of the footings of the demolished house were recorded during Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance in the 2018 drought, on 19th July 2019.
