Description
A ruined rectangular barn with walls remaining to their original height of 2m and both gables remaining. A two-storey building measuring 5m north/south by 4m east-west, there is a window in both the east facing wall and the northern gable. The walls are of slate construction, and roofing slates can be found scattered around the structure. Located in the southern wall, there is a large slate beam across the top of the door and loose slates in front of the doorway, the door itself having slate framing. There is a small cupboard or niche in the northern gable but no indication of a fireplace. Noted during an upland survey conducted by Archaeophysica during 2005-6
