Description
1. Slate quarry, depicted on OS County series (Merioneth. XXIII NE 1891): it is suggested that the rectangular structure built into Pennant cairn (Nprn306587), at SJ04823331, is an associated powder store.

2. Located on the north side of the stream, a linear cut into the hillside measuring up to 10m wide and 5m high, over 50m long E-W. It opens into a water-filled bowl at the E end measuring 30m across. The water level in this is lower than the stream, the spoil tips preventing flooding.
