DescriptionThe ancient settlement on the northern slopes of Mynydd Carningli appears to be a later Prehistoric settlement consisting of at least one large roundhouse set within a walled yard. These features are represented by low earthworks, presumably covering the remains of tumbled drystone walls. The complex is located in an extensive relict field system (NPRN 308761). It consists of two conjoined circular structures, about 14m and 10m in diameter, on the south side of a yard or enclosure about 32m east-west by 16m.
