A pasture field at the head of Nant Alltwalis shows a number of relict field-enclosure & possible settlement features: the field appears to have been subdivided by banks into at least five sections, an arrangement which need not predate the currrent field boundaries; against the most northerly east-west relict bank is a sub-rectangular enclosure, 25m north-south by 14m, containing a rectangular structure, about10m north-south: the enclosure & certain of the banks are depicted as disused on OS County series(Carmarthen. XXIV.1 1888).
