Built as a lodge to the nearby Stansty Lodge c1840. Coursed and squared stone with slate roof. Single storey, originally a single range later extended by the addition of a wing. Canted front to Stansty Road with central door flanking casement windows with iron traceried glazing, all with drop-ended hood moulds.Fenestration on inner return renewed or inserted, the facade to Lodge Road largely blind with side wall stack.
