DescriptionThe Market Hall in Pembroke was built shortly after the Town Hall (NPRN 32127), completed in 1833 immediately in front of the land which the Market Hall occupied. The building was of limewashed rubble masonry, topped by twin-roofs, the outer ends of the tie-beams being supported on moulded stone corbels, the valley on a row of cast-iron columns running through the centre of the building. The roof was partially slated, with the upper parts glazed.
The Hall was demolished in 1979, and the land is now used for parking.
