DescriptionThe village of Llanover is a designated conservation area. The `heart? of the village is formed by the `Tre Elidyr? group of houses which were built as a unique memorial to the men from the village who died in the First World War (NPRN 419582). These houses surround a Memorial Park, on which stands the war memorial. This memorial is partially enclosed by a semi circle of lime trees, one for each villager who died, with their branches entwined. The village has a number of listed estate cottages and mills.
