Description
A plas which was greatly expanded or rebuilt in the late nineteenth century (between 1887 and 1905), the remains showing signs of multiple phases of building with the eastern half of the building being of inferior construction. The building, which measured roughly 30m by 10m, is in a ruinous state, with the surviving walls standing to a maximum height of around two metres. The plas was of drystone construction with prominent quoining to the southern chamber. There is a fold to the north with a wide western entrance to the north of which was a garden plot defined by a drystone wall.
