DescriptionThe state of the art Ty Gwyn Special School in Ely in Cardiff, designed for up to 150 pupils with severe disabilities from three to nineteen years of age. The £16m school was funded by Welsh Government and designed by Cardiff Council's in-house design team with Holder Mathias Architects. The innovative school opened in 2010 and includes hydrotherapy and splash pools, and outdoor sensory gardens
