Description
Henllys Vale Limekilns are a bank of four massive limekilns that were built of stone and brick, probably in the late nineteenth century, in what appears to be two phases of construction. Coal was obtained from the nearby Henllys Vale Colliery (NPRN 33404) and limestone was brought in from quarries on Cefn Carn Fadog by a tramway.
