It was built in Early English style in 1882-3 to designs of architect Thomas Nicholson of Hereford and is constructed of rock-faced local sandstone with dressings of Ombersley stone. The church comprises nave with west bell gable, and lower chancel, managed without a chancel arch. A south aisle was inserted in 1911 by Morgan & Elford of Mountain Ash.
