Description
Sheep fold constructed predominantly of dry stone walls, with two large boulders forming the north and south western corners. The structure consists of a large D-shaped enclosure which is about 13 metres long by 16 metres wide. On the south eastern side of this enclosure is a smaller D shaped enclosure, measuring approximately 7.5 metres long by 3.5 metres wide. The structure is recorded as a sheepfold on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS maps, published in 1889 and 1901. Although it is no longer labelled as a sheepfold on modern editions of the OS map, the outline of it's shape is still noted.
