Brynford Hall farm appears to be a relatively modern development, as it does not appear on the third edition of the 25inch OS maps, published in 1912. The 2017 OS maps and National Assembly for Wales aerial photography from 2014 reveal several large agricultural buildings clustered together, all with corrugated iron roofs.
