Description
This fish trap is part of a complex located on and between Salmon and Pastoun Scars (see NPRN 401681). This fish trap, along with NPRNs 519279, 519277 and 519275, is situated on the southeast (seaward side) of salmon Scar. The group consists of 4 lengths of post and stone wall lines, thought to be stake lines for fixed nets. All start on the scar as low stone walls, changing to post lines where the scar finishes.

Event and Historical Information:
The complex was recorded during a number of visits by RCAHMW staff from 1980-2003.
