DescriptionCapel Pant-y-Defaid Unitarian Chapel and Schoolroom were built in 1802. The chapel was rebuilt twice, in 1836 and 1898. The present chapel, dated 1898, is built in the Classical style of the short-wall entry type, with painted stucco walls and a hipped slate roof. Pant-y-Defaid is now Grade 2 listed as a good example of a late ninetenth century chapel interior and for the fine collection of well-lettered slate headstones in the churchyard.
