Digital copy of a black and white, oblique aerial photograph of Gresford Colliery. The photograph shows the view from the south east, taken one month after one of the worst mining disasters in the country on 22nd September, 1934, when a major explosion and subsequent fire in the Dennis section killed 266 miners.
