Historic quarry of shale slates at Geufron, Nant Bir, the outcrops of which are thought to have provided at least some of the roofing slates for the Abermagwr Roman villa. Field visit with Dr Jeffrey Davies, Dr Toby Driver and Chris Fletcher (geologist) on 20th March 2012.
