Penuel Methodist Chapel was built in 1817, rebuilt in 1860 (by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore) and modified in 1875. The 1860 chapel was built in the Romanesque style of the gable-entry type with tall round-headed windows and a large arch in the facade. Penuel was demolished in 1960.
