Ainon Baptist Chapel was built in 1899, to the design of architect Roderick of Blaencwm. The chapel is built in the Sub-Classical style with a gable-entry plan, two storeys a basement and round-headed windows. The schoolroom is dated 1893. Ainon is now Grade 2 Listed as a modest late nineteenth century chapel retaining some good detailing.
