Tabernacle Independent Chapel was built in 1843, rebuilt in 1877 by architect J.Gale of Merthyr, rebuilt in 1908 by architect Thomas Roderick of Aberdare. The 1908 chapel was built in the Gothic style with a gable-entry plan, two storeys, a basement, tower, spire and bell-cote. Tabernacle was demolished in 1982.
