DescriptionPontrhydrun Baptist Chapel was built in 1817, rebuilt in 1836 and modified in 1889. The 1836 chapel was built in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan, two storeys and small pane round-headed windows. This chapel is assocoated with the Pontrhydrun Tin Plate Works and is now Grade 2 Listed as a particularly fine Classical chapel of unusual size and with good ashlar detail.
