Capel-Yr-Uchdir Independent Chapel was built during the mid nineteenth-century. The chapel has a plain but impressive Italianate gable-end facade, with a simplified round-headed Venetian window over a central semi-circular arched door. The door is flanked by round-arched windows on the ground and first-floor levels. There are two block string-courses between the storeys and also the gable is set in a squared Pennant sandstone facade with rendered side-walls.
