Jerusalem Independent Chapel was built in 1841 in the Simple Round-headed style with a long-wall entry plan. The chapel is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and a slate-roofed gabled porch. There is a lower red brick chapel house on the site with a centre gabled porch and flanking windows. By 2003 this chapel had been converted for residential use.
