Pentrebeirdd Independent Chapel was built in 1823 and appears to have been rebuilt during the late nineteenth century. The chapel is constructed in the Simple Round-Headed style, with red brick walls and a slate roof. It is shown as a Congregational Chapel on the Ordnance Survey map of 1889. By 2003 this chapel was been much altered during conversion into two houses, named The Old Chapel and Ty'n y Coed.
