This turf-covered burnt mound is located on the N side of the peat-clogged stream which runs through Cwm yr Esgyr.
It measures 19m (N-S) by 17.5m and 1.2m high on the S, streamward side (where the mound is very slightly indented), elsewhere 0.5m-0.75m. Just W of centre is an upright stone which measures 1.4m high (max), 0.8m wide (E-W) and 0.4m thick.
