Main Independent Chapel was built in 1816 in the Vernacular style with a long-wall entry plan. It is a stone-built with a slate-roof and 1 or 2 blocked segmental openings. The north east gable has a stone chimney breast. The south east long wall has 2 nineteenth century segmental windows with openings above and stone voussoirs. The fenestration below is late twentieth century and was carried out in connection with the house conversion. The south west gable has a later twentieth century first-floor entry into the house. Main Chapel closed in 1950 and by 2002 had been converted for use as a house.
