St Mary's church is located down a short lane in a residential area of Morfa Nefyn, in a rectangular churchyard used as a cemetery. It was built in about 1870 to designs of W.Pritchard of Nanhoron. It consists of buttressed nave, short narrower chancel, gabled porch on west end wall, and west slated bellcote on timber legs. A vestry by Harold Hughes was added in 1933. The church is lit through lancet windows between buttresses. Stained glass includes work by Powells (east window, 1924).
