DescriptionThe English Presbyterian Chapel in Abergele was built in 1878 to the design of architect Richard Owens of Liverpool. It is built in the early Gothic style with a gable entry plan, polygonal limestone masonry, a blue slate roof and a wheel window in the front facade. The schoolroom was added 1890. By 2008 this chapel had fallen into disuse and planning permission was bring sort for change of use to a children's play centre.The English Chapel is now Grade 2 Listed for its robust design by one of the most prolific Welsh chapel architects.
