Capel Mawr Methodist Chapel was built in 1780 and rebuilt c.1900. This later chapel is built in the Sub-Classical style with far eastern influences, a long-wall entry plan and flanking towers. By 1997 the chapel had been demolished and vestry converted for residential use.
