Description
Tabernacl Methodist Chapel was built in 1907 in the Arts and Crafts/Gothic style. The chapel was designed by architect James Cubitt of Swansea and built with a cruciform gable entry plan and integral tower. This chapel closed in 1968, was later used as a Synagague, then used by Bangor University, sold to a theatre company (Theatre Cymru) and finally converted into flats in 1988. The Tabernacl building is now Grade 2 listed.
