Tabernacle Independent Chapel is a plain building, built in the gable entry plan in 1895.
The chapel is constructed in the round-headed style, with a simple facade comprising of two large round-headed windows flanking a central doorway. Above the doorway is a name/date plaque, and to the left is a foundation stone laid by the daughter of Rhiwgreiddyn quarry manager, Jeremiah Williams. The chapel is stone built with yellow brick dressings to the openings, the front facade being rendered. The chapel closed in the 1980's and in July 2011 the chapel appeared to be disused.
