The Cwm Belan English Methodist Chapel was built in 1835, enlarged between 1855 and 1858 and renovated in 1910. It is a stone chapel, built in the Simple Round Headed style with an entrance in the gable end. The plaque in the gable is dated 1858 and is set above two round-headed wood-framed windows with opening lights and stone voussoirs. A later lean-to stone porch against the ground floor has a central round-arched doorway with vitreous brick headers. The blind right hand side elevation is of stone, whilst the left is blind cemented. The stone rear gable has two round-headed windows with brick headers. In 2002 this building was still in use as a chapel.
