Description
The Chapel of Ease, Capel Banhadlog, was founded around 1780, with the present structure having been built in 1826 to cater for the more remote parishioners of Llandinam, the church of which was several miles away. Unusually for such a chapel it has its own graveyard. The small rectangular building is entered through a central doorway on the south wall, flanked by pointed windows. Above the west gable is a bellcote. The chapel is now derelict and the majority of the fittings have been removed. There remains a font, dated 1822, which was formed from a fluted column, with the bowl hollowed out. There is also a flagstone on the threshold which once served as a tombstone, and has a worn inscription, dated - - 17; most likely 1717.
